JYP accepts Jay Park's apology

Last week, Jay Park posted a formal apology to JYP and 2PM on his official fan cafe. On February 23rd, the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry sent out a memorandum to Jay Park about the possibility of participating in broadcasts in the future.

A representative told Star News, "Park Jaebum apologized formally to the 2PM members and Park Jinyoung. JYP Entertainment then told us that they were thankful for his apology. We tried hard to solve the tension between Park Jaebum and JYP Entertainment, and now broadcasting companies should feel free to feature Park Jaebum on shows."

While Jay Park has released a single and has been active in Korea through fan meets, he has not been seen on any television broadcasts. With the formal apology and JYP Entertainment accepting it, this may mean that JayWalkers will be able to finally see him on television.

On February 17th, Jay Park posted, "When I was a member of 2PM, I disappointed a lot of Korean citizens with the mistakes that I made. I feel apologetic for disappointing JYPE's Park Jin Young, who help me both physically and mentally. I made a mistake when I withdrew from 2PM, and the members I suffered, lived, and had fun together with suffered an undeserved amount of stress due to the aftermath of the event."

With the apology and JYP Entertainment accepting it, the door to this case has finally been closed. Hopefully, in the near future, Hottest and JayWalkers will be able to see both 2PM and Jay Park perform on the stage as friendly rivals.
