Although 4Minute's "WHY" album is scheduled for release in Japan next week, it has already climbed to 7th place on this week's Oricon NINKI rankings.
The rankings are not official sales rankings, but rather the results of polls conducted by Oricon. Based on the outcomes of the polls, the sales success of an album in Japan can be predicted relatively accurately.
With as high a ranking as 7th place, 4Minute is sure to do well against other popular Japanese artists (SKE48, NYC and Superfly) who will be releasing their albums during the same week.
On the other hand, 4Minute plans to attend the 9th Korean Music Festival Hollywood Bowl this year. Are you excited to see them perform their new songs there?
