On the 1st of April, Sooyoung uploaded a video message to her fans on UFO's Star Call and talked about how she enjoyed Aprils Fool's Day, further revealing her past experiences of the day.
In the video message, Sooyoung also confessed one incident that happened within the group when they were training for their debut. Apparently, one of the members alerted them that they had practice on the 1st of April only to find out out that it was a lie. Even Hyoyeon came all the way from Incheon for the practice, having the fear of getting to the practice session late.
Sooyoung further revealed that she couldn't remember who did the prank, but it remains one of the most memorable April Fool's Day events for her. Closing her video update, Sooyoung said, "Even today when I think about that day, I still can feel my heart beating fast in fear of getting to the practice late. Everyone, try not to get tricked today, but even if you were to get tricked, it’s ok because today is April Fools. "
