In our excitement about finally hearing their new song and our haste to spread the news to our followers, we overlooked the fact that the girls’ song was not due to be released for another two weeks and the leak that was provided was illegal.
We had absolutely no intention of ruining the girls’ Japanese activities, we did not provide a download link, and when we realized our error immediately pulled everything pertaining to the leak. However, we regret being unfair to the girls and not waiting until the official release date to report on the girls’ latest achievement. We apologize for our participation in the spreading of this leak, and we apologize to Girls’ Generation and SONEs for our mistake.
As for the original leak of the audio, it was from an anonymous source. Please once again take our apology with the most sincerity, as a community that has supported and will continue to support Girls’ Generation, we would never even think about ruining their Japanese promotions. ‘MR.TAXI’ is a great song and we encourage everyone to buy the original album when it is released on April 27.
In the future we will take more preventive actions and ensure that Soshified will not be involved in participating in incidents that might harm Girls’ Generation.
