SHINee Tops Oricon Daily Chart with "Juliette"

SHINee Tops Oricon Daily Chart with "Juliette"

Recently, SHINee's second Japanese single called, "Juliette" snatched the number one spot on the Oricon Daily Chart.

After SHINee released "Juliette" on August 29th, an impressive amount of approximately 25,595 copies were sold right away - this was enough for the number one spot on the chart.
"Juliette" is a song that received a lot of love and attention during 2009 in Korea and now it is
becoming popular in Japan. Before the official release of the Japanese version of "Juliette," SHINee
already had a big fan base in Japan due to their previous performances in Japan. Consequently, gaining a lot of popularity within a short span of time wasn't a problem for them.

During June of this year, SHINee's first Japanese single, "Replay," was released and, pretty soon, over 100,000 copies were sold. Unfortunately, due to the tough competitors during this time, they weren't able reach the number one spot on the Oricon Chart. Now that they have reached the number one spot, they have significantly increased their potential of becoming successful in Japan.

Later this year, SHINee, along with other SM Entertainment artists, will be performing in Tokyo Dome for
the "SMTOWN LIVE CONCERT" which will start on September 2nd and end on September 4th.
