Tiffany grabbed the most attention as this is her first musical appearance. When asked to tell the difference between TV shows and musicals, Tiffany said, “Ten to ten, I had to practice 12 hours a day (for ‘Fame’). SNSD never practiced 12 hours a day. But both are fun and you need passion to prepare for each stage, so it’s hard to pick one over another.”
“The staff taught me so much in a short period of time so I feel like my acting, dancing, and vocals all improved a lot. During practice, I paid so much attention to every little detail,” she added.
She was later asked if musicals were something she’s always been interested in. “It was a great opportunity so I agreed to it, but because of my busy schedule I couldn’t come to a lot of practices. I feel like I could do a lot better if given more time, so I would like to do this more in the future," she responded.
“Fame” is a musical based on the U.S. film with the same title. It was first made into a Broadway musical in 1988, but the Korean version debuted in 2005. The show depicts the life of aspiring artists and students who want to make it big in the entertainment industry.
