BoA moved to tears at her 10th anniversary Christmas concert

On December 10th and 11th, BoA held her 10th anniversary concert at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan and was reported to have broken out into tears after being moved by her fans.
The two-day concert was a celebration of both her 10th anniversary since her debut in Japan as well as a special Christmas concert in time for the upcoming holidays. Each concert saw 5,000 fans in attendance, bringing the total to 10,000 that showed up for the event.
After the concert, BoA wrote on her Twitter, “I’m so sorry that I cried to the point where I couldn’t sing anymore. The past 10 years that I’ve spent in Japan have been both dramatic and movie-like… This is the beginning of another 10 years.”
Reflecting her thoughts, Japan’s Sankei Sports stated, “This year marks BoA’s 10th anniversary in Japan. On the 11th, she sang ‘Meri Kuri‘ at the end of ehr Christmas concert and broke out into tears, saying, ‘I can’t sing anymore because I’m crying too hard.’”
They continued, “After hearing that, the 5,000 member audience sang the rest of the song for her, showing their support. BoA collect herself backstage and returned to the stage to sing the rest of ‘Meri Kuri’ with them.”
As a nod to her growth as both a woman and an artist, BoA showed off a variety of hair styles and fashion, like a mini-dress that showed off her slender legs.
In related news, BoA’s 10th anniversary DVD, “Milestone“, ranked 8th on the Oricon daily DVD chart.
