Big Bang's Daesung Comes Back on TV Through SBS' "K-Pop Star"

Big Bang's Daesung Comes Back on TV Through SBS' "K-Pop Star"

Big Bang’s Daesung has made an appearance on a variety show for the first time in a long while.
On the January 29 episode of SBS’ “K-Pop Star,” the cast of hopefuls had a sneak peek at the famed YG Entertainment training system. The YG training process was revealed to the public with the final casting auditions soon approaching. Contestants were required to attend the monthly evaluations.
The screening began with Yang Hyun Suk and his panel of guest judges: CL and Park Bom of 2NE1 along with Big Bang’s Taeyang and Daesung. All who definitely aren’t strangers to the YG trainee program. After the group’s unfortunate, abrupt ending to schedule in 2011, Daesung has resumed his activities with his long awaited MBN drama “What’s Up,” which is currently airing. “K-Pop Star” marks the first appearance in a long time for Daesung on a variety show, which comes just before Big Bang’s highly anticipated comeback.
Daesung wasn’t just there for the show as he gave helpful critiques. To one of the participants he was quick to point out, “I heard this with many before, your voice is sweet but your pitch is unstable.”
His critique was followed up by, “What I have done in the past is to make it a habit of speaking with strength, so that even when I sing it will come out with an even more powerful voice." All of his words were profound advice from years of experience.
