Girls’ Generation Taeyeon performs solo at ‘Athena’ dramatic concert in Japan


‘Athena’ successfully wrapped up their Japanese promotions.
The ‘Athena : Goddess of War‘ dramatic concert that took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on January 5th was a big success. Main character Cha Seung WonSoo AeKim Min JongChoi SiwonChoo Sung Hoon, and Sean Richard were present, as well as the Super Junior members,SHINee, and Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon. The stars performed in front of 25,000 audience members who responded with explosive cheers and applause.
The event was a little different from most concerts, as the actors and actresses recited actual lines from the drama, as well as showcased some real moves from the action scenes.
The stars who couldn’t attend such as Jung Woo SungBoATVXQ‘s ChangminKim Seung Wooas well as IRIS cast members Kim Tae Hee and Lee Byung Hun greeted the fans via video messages, which was also met with a wildly positive response from fans.
‘Athena’ producer Jung Tae Won remarked, “We were impressed that the viewers are now much younger than they were with ‘IRIS’. It was a memorable time, as the audience members were so responsive.
Girls Generation member Taeyeon who sang the track “I Love You” for the drama’s soundtrack (OST) performed the song live at the event. Though her fellow girls were not with her, Taeyeon still managed to put on a phenomenal performance, singing with all of her heart and soul, flawlessly hitting every high note.
