Jang Woo Hyuk expands his activities into Korea and Japan


Singer Jang Woo Hyuk has been on the rise as a new Hallyu star thanks to his many activities in Korea, China, and Japan.
After capturing viewers’ attention with his wit on ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, he went on to perform at China’s New Year’s concert, ‘Ni Hao 2012‘, on New Year’s Eve.
Representatives of his agency stated, “Jang Woo Hyuk represented Korea amidst many top Chinese stars at the New Year’s concert. He performed his hits, ‘The Day Time Stopped‘ and ‘Weekend Night‘. He was well received by his Chinese fans and staff, and many lingered to get his autograph and photos.”
He’s also preparing to star in the Chinese drama, “50 First Dates“, as the leading male role, while also holding fan meets in Japan.
Jang Woo Hyuk expressed, “I’m glad that I was able to meet my Korean fans through ’1 Night 2 Days’ for the New Year, and I hope you look forward to part two of the best friend special. I have been receiving offers from variety shows, so I’d love to be more active in that area in the New Year and provide everyone with joy.”
