China’s Liaoning TV announced on January 5 that Chinese stars Na Ying, Jolin Tsai, Sun Nan and hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong would be appearing in its Lunar New Year special program, Spring Festival Evening Show, set to air on January 23.
A rep for the program explained, “Kim Hyun Joong is looking forward to spending his Lunar New Year in China for the first time. He will be performing at his best with a 20 member dance team.”
Even Chinese celebrities and influential figures find it difficult to find a spot in the program, and the program once even recorded an unbelievable viewership rating of 95.6 percent.
