On January 15th’s episode of Mnet’s ‘MIC’, idol group MBLAQ shared an interesting story.
MBLAQ has been gaining worldwide fame. They were the first non-Japanese singers to rank #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart for three consecutive days on their first week of their debut, and they also maintained their #1 spot on a Bulgarian music chart for over 100 days.
G.O was asked which members are popular in which country, and he answered, “Lee Joon is very popular in Japan. Mir looks like soccer player Ronaldinho so he’s popular in Brazil. Seung Ho andThunder are popular in Taiwan and Thailand, and me, with my beautiful skin, am popular everywhere.”
The boys were also asked if there were any presents they received that left a lasting impression, to which Lee Joon replied that he’s received adult toys.
Lee Joon laughed as he described that it was a squishy object and the members didn’t know what it was so they passed it around, poking and touching it. One member even put it in his mouth!
Mir confessed that he was the one who put it in his mouth, and explained, “From the outside it looked like an average egg, but after touching it and putting it in my mouth we realized it was an adult toy.”
MBLAQ also revealed their thoughts on Rain and said, “We respect Rain so much and he is so talented in every aspect that we got ready for our debut thinking, ‘Even if we do just half as well as him, we’ll be successful’.”
