Superstar K3's Chris was close to being sued by a group because of his “private life.” The problem was a personal meeting with a female member of his fan café. Around 10 fans argued that they were sexually abused.
Because of this, Chris has decided to move back to the U.S. On January 30, he wrote on his SNS, “I’m Leaving to America Today, Lies really hurt me, And I am Very sad for the people who make up Stories. Goodbye Korea.”
On January 28 one fan wrote on an online community board, “Chris took me to his home the first day we met, and we had sexual relations.” Other fans also stated that they thought they were lovers and that Chris demanded that they keep their relationship quiet.
A representative of M.net stated, “Chris was never managed by M.net. He was actually managed by an agency in South Korea. Chris rejected the incubator system. He was managed by his own agency.”
The agency that managed Chris also had a few words, “Chris couldn’t be controlled. Chris did not like being managed. We had a few confrontations, finally we decided to end the contract. Afterwards we have not been in contact.”
