On February 9th, IU received her plaque along with her graduating class from Seoul Dongduk Girls’ High School. The young star came to school in her graduation gown, greeting her teachers and friends as a jubilant student.
Though IU was pressed with numerous schedules, she was determined to attend this important event. A representative from IU’s agency revealed, “We were wary about allowing her to go because we were concerned that the media would make people feel uncomfortable, but IU really wanted to see her friends.”
As for the graduate herself, she expressed that she feels excited for the future. “Although I’m sad that I didn’t get to spend enough time with my friends and teachers, I’m finally an adult. I feel nervous, yet excited.”
In related news, IU will release the Japanese version of “Good Day“ on March 21st.
Congratulations, IU!
