Park Shin Hye’s Birthday Celebrated by Middle East Fans

Park Shin Hye’s birthday is becoming an international occasion.
Fans from Middle East countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Iraq, especially stood out after they remembered to send in a bunch of birthday cards through Youtube. 


A video, titled Park Shin Hye Arab Birthday Card 2012, contains a slide show of cards from Arab fans showing their love for Park. Fans from other countries, including Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia, also joined in by uploading other videos to celebrate Park’s birthday.

A rep from Park’s agency 4HIM Entertainment stated, “It’s surprising that Park Shin Hye is popular not only in Asia, in China and Japan, but also across the world in the Middle East, South America and Europe. We’re so thankful and happy from the congratulatory messages fans are sending in from all over the world to our Twitter account and our office.” Recently, the number of Park’s Twitter followers shot through 160,000.

To repay her fans for their love, Park plans to spend time with them in Korea and Japan. On February 18, she will spend her birthday with her fan club Starlight Angel, and on February 24, she will hold her first exclusive fanmeeting in Japan at the ZEPP Tokyo.



Park Shin Hye will soon be taking on her first romantic reality program, MBC Music′s Music and Lyrics, on February 24. The program will bring together a top actress with a male singer/songwriter to write a special song, and Park will be collaborating with singer/songwriter Yoon Gun.

Park said about the show, “I’m nervous because it’s my first reality program, but I’m looking forward to showing my real self on Music and Lyrics.”
