KARA’s Jiyoung’s upcoming Japanese drama to air on April 13th


Back in November, kpopunli reported that KARA‘s Jiyoung was confirmed for the leading role in a Korean-Japanese drama called ‘Rainbow Rose‘.
On March 5th, it was reported that the date of the first broadcast for the drama was finally decided. According to reports, Jiyoung will be able to showcase her acting skills through ‘Rainbow Rose’ starting April 16th.
In particular, the addition of Supernova‘s Gun Il to the cast has raised much expectations among Japanese fans.
‘Rainbow Rose’ is a romantic-comedy that is set at a boarding house and tells the story of love and fate between two college students. Japanese actors Mizusawa Erena and Fujii Mina are also starring in this drama and the drama is currently underway to broadcast in Korea as well.
