According to her agency LOEN Entertainment, singer IU, who immediately achieved an all-kill with her pre-released song “Peach“, will not be undergoing broadcast promotions for her new album.
A representative from LOEN informed that the singer will instead be focusing on preparing for her upcoming tour. “This is IU’s first solo concert, and she is thoroughly preparing for the event to show her fans a near-perfect performance.”
“It’s unfortunate, but she will be performing her new song for the first time at the concert,” the rep continued.
This is IU’s first release in six months,and the singer, who is often called ‘the nation’s little sister’ by her many oppa and uncle fans, is drawing much attention for her upcoming tour.
Her tour ‘REAL FANTASY‘ will cover 6 cities total, kicking off June 2nd and 3rd at Kyunghee University in Seoul, and continuing in Ulsan, Jeonju, Suwon, Busan, and Daegu.
Tickets began going on sale April 17th, and all 6,500 seats sold out within half an hour. 43.8% of the fans who purchased the tickets are within the 30~40 age bracket, while another 43.8% are in their 20′s, and 12.4% are in their teens.
Meanwhile, IU, who turns 20 this year, will drop her new album ‘Twenty Year Old Spring‘ on May 11th.
