The legendary idol group, Shinhwa, completed their ‘2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Return‘ concert in Japan to much success.
The concert marked the group’s first return to Japan in four years, and they made up for their long absence by giving their Japanese fans a sensational performance.
On May 29 and 30, Shinhwa held their concert at the Yokohama Arena, where they performed their hit tracks ‘T.O.P“, “Wild Eyes“, “Perfect Man“, “Eusha Eusha“, “Wedding“, and “Brand New“.
Shinhwa, who made a comeback with their tenth album ‘The Return‘ this past March, performed their new songs “Venus” and “Hurts“, while Japanese fans sang along with them, savoring every moment of their reunion.
On stage, Minwoo stated, “In Korea, we are shooting for ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ every week. We have a great time recording with a variety of concepts. I think it’s great that you are not limited to just meeting us at concerts but can watch us once a week on TV. We will come back again next year with a great album and performances.” Andy added, “We will continue to show everybody a great performance. We’ll work even harder so please have high hopes for us.”
Shinhwa then heated up the stage with their energetic encore performances of “Yo” and “Oh“.
After the concert, Dongwan shared, “We will adopt a beginner’s attitude, and continue to give our best efforts near all of you,” and Minwoo added, “To everyone who has touched us emotionally and loved Shinhwa, your presence is a significant gift to us. You are the world’s best fans.” Lastly, Ericcommented, “Like the friendship between the Shinhwa members, I hope everyone’s friendship with Shinhwa never changes.”
In related news, Shinhwa will have one more performance in Kobe, Japan on June 2, and viewers will be able to catch the recap of Shinhwa’s Tokyo and Kobe concerts on Mnet Japan on August 18.
