After what has been an effort to push the boundaries of K-Pop’s ability to reach an audience outside its home turf, the five ladies of Wonder Girls will be making a return to Asia this summer to make their Japanese debut!
Oricon reported on May 10th that the girls’ classic hit song “Nobody” will once again serve as their debut song. The song will be the title track off of the group’s debut Japanese EP titled ‘Nobody for Everybody‘, expected to hit stores July 25th.
About their upcoming Japanese venture, J.Y. Park commented, “We wanted to challenge ourselves more.”
Sohee stated, “I can’t wait to meet all the Japanese fans”, while Lim added, “We are working hard to show an even better image for all the Japanese fans.”
If you remember, a clip of the Japanese version of “Nobody” was heard in the Wonder Girls’ commercial for a Japanese cosmetic product. Check it out below, if you missed it last time!
In related news, it has also been rumored that the Wonder Girls may be making their return to Korea this coming June as well!
