“If You Really Love Me” written by Jang Bum Joon and Bae Young Jun is the title track to Busker Busker’s first album, and it is a medium-tempo track that sings of two lovers who misunderstand one another’s genuine feelings for each other. Member Jang Bum Joon admitted that he found the inspiration for the song from a previous relationship, where he had decided he should more often express his feelings to his girlfriend. She, however, did not feel he was being genuine and the two inevitably went their separate ways.
The song that begins with Jang Bum Joon’s unique vocals whisper, “I guess I can’t love you with my words,” something many listeners will be able to relate to.
