FT Island is confirmed to be one of this year’s performers at Mezamashi Live. The lineup for the annual summer outdoor concert series held by Ruji TV will include FT Island as well as Japanese R&B singer Al.
The concert series will kick off on July 28 and will mark the second year in a row FT Island has been invited to join the series.

In 2011, FT Island became the singer who brought in the most number of concertgoers in Mezamashi Live’s history.
Though the Odaiba Gashuukoku venue can accommodate 2,000 people, on the day of FT Island’s performance last year, an astounding 40,000 some people came to watch the band perform.
Before its appearance at the outdoors concert, FT Island will embark on its own concert tour in Japan beginning on June 24 and ending on July 8 after having traveled and performed through four different cities.
