Baek Sung Hyun certainly did in a recent episode of KBS’ Big.On the June 25 broadcast of Big, Jang Mari (Suzy) finds out that Kang Kyung Joon (Gong Yoo) is trapped inside Seo Yoon Jae’s body. In her efforts to correct the problem, Jang Mari and her trusty sidekick, Gil Choong Shik (Baek Sung Hyun) visit a shaman.
When Jang Mari asks the shaman to switch the souls back to their rightful bodies, the shaman tells Mari that she needs a young man who will act as a talisman to take all the evil spirits away.
Jang Mari then volunteers Gil Choong Shik telling him, “It’s not a bad thing.” The scene was even more highlighted when the soundtrack from The Sun and the Moon started playing in the background.
Parodying from the MBC hit drama, The Sun and the Moon, Suzy’s determination to get her Kang Kyung Joon back had viewers rolling on the ground laughing.
They commented, “I was so caught off guard by this scene and had a blast laughing,” “This totally reminded me of The Sun and the Moon,” and “Poor Baek Sung Hyun. How much more will he suffer?”
Big, written by the famous Hong Sisters, has also shown parodies of other dramas and programs, such as Lee Jong Suk’s‘Bbuing bbuing’ from High Kick and ′Thank you very much′ from Gag Concert, adding more comedy to the drama.
