ZE:A Says It Will Fight Among the Big Name Comebacks

ZE:A showed it wasn’t ruffled at the thought of competing with some big names making comebacks this July.
The members spoke at the showcase and press roundtable held on July 3 for the group’s second studio album Spectacular.

The members said, “We worked hard. We worked really hard because it would be our first album in a year. We did our best to show that we’ve matured in skill.”

They added, “It’s been a long time since we’ve stood onstage other than for overseas concerts. We’ve missed the stage, and we want to thank those fans who waited all this time.”

When asked about how they felt about the upcoming comebacks of big groups such as Super Junior, 2NE1, SISTAR and T-ara, they said, “We won’t be rivals; we’ll be competing in good faith. Rather than try to compete, we’ll try hard to find ZE:A’s own color. We hope our first single cut Aftermath becomes one of our most popular pieces.”

Member Kwang Hee especially said, “We were worried [about the big comebacks], but our agency officials seem to have thought it would be okay to return now. I think [everyone’s] confident. We believe that we should start fighting when everyone else does. We have no reason to avoid it.”

ZE:A has been touring the country with its Fighting Project since June 15 to celebrate its comeback, dropping by Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon and Bucheon.

The showcase and finale of the tour held in Seoul was relayed live to the world online.

The album Spectacular was released on July 4, and the group will start promoting the album with a comeback on the July 5 broadcast of Mnet’s M Countdown.
