2NE1's "Lonely" achieves an all-kill on charts

After 8 months of hiatus since their last album promotions, 2NE1 has made their official and successful comeback with the release of their single, "Lonely."
 The song was released at midnight on May 12th and have already taken over the #1 spot on real-time online charts including Melon, Bugs, Soribada, Dosirak, Monkey3, Mnet, and others. A perfect all-kill.

Yang Hyunseok of YG Entertainment said, "'Lonely' did not use the effects of auto-tune. It's a song that brings out their emotions 100%. The drums in 'Lonely' were removed and only string instruments were used to bring out the individual and compelling personalities of the 2NE1 members."
