The music festival is set to take place on December 31st at 9:50PM KST and will be counting down towards the New Year with viewers and participating artists.
A lineup and official MCs has already been announced by MBC in the past week to be Girls' Generation, Wonder Girls, miss A, KARA, IU, T-ara, Super Junior, 2PM, TVXQ, CNBLUE, SHINee, BEAST, MBLAQ, FT Island, Infinite, U-Kiss, Teen Top, B1A4, K.Will, BoyFriend, Norazo, MBC Star Audition's Baek Chungkang, Kwon Risae and David Oh, Brown Eyed Girls, f(x), 4minute, G.NA, SISTAR, Secret, Davichi, After School, Rainbow, Girl's Day, A Pink, Dal Shabet, Moony, Baek Jiyoung, Lee Sora, Kim Bumsoo, and Park Junghyun (Lena Park).
Meanwhile, the MCs have been revealed to be four couples from "We Got Married," 2PM's Nichkhun and f(x)'s Victoria (Khuntoria Couple), Super Junior's Leeteuk and actress Kang Sora (TeukSo Couple), Lee Jangwoo and T-ara's Eunjeung (WooJung Couple), and 2AM's Jokwon and Brown Eyed Girls' Gain (Adam Couple).
The teaser begins with Super Junior's Leeteuk, one of the MCs, riding a bike towards the camera and shushing the imaginary screaming fans.
Currently, K-Pop fans can head to the official 2011 MBC Korean Music Festival webpage to vote for the "most anticipated star in 2012" for Nexon Music and Candle TV. Voting will continue until December 28th.
