Jeju Air announced on April 18 that in order to strengthen their global image, they finalized the modelling contract with Big Bang.
They also arranged to be a sponsor for the Japan and Asia tour that starts in May.Big Bang will let people know about Jeju Air through the homepage, newspapers, magazines, outdoor billboards or posters, and online ads. They will also be seen in overseas branches located in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and China. In addition, a picture of Big Bang will be wrapped around one of Jeju Air's airplanes, which will carry Big Bang and their staff to Japan. As a sponsor of the tour in Japan that starts in May, they are planning to effectively let everyone know about the Japan route that is offered on their airline.
For the Asia tour that starts in October, Jeju Air is planning to advertise at the concerts but also make a travel package for it. Big Bang will perform in various places like Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam.
A representative of Jeju Air said, "With top class K-Pop star Big Bang as the model for Jeju Air, it will be a topic of interest all throughout Asia."
