It appears Girls’ Generation (SNSD) is leaving no territory unmarked as it will soon be making its way onto the pages of a web cartoon (webtoon). According to cartoon animation company Ylab, ENT, a webtoon featuring SM Entertainment artists, will be released in Japan.
SNSD will make a cameo in the webtoon, which is about a chance encounter between a seemingly ordinary high school student, who is actually the vocalist, known as “A,” of SM’s newest group Born on the Fourth of July, and a famous fan fiction writer.
The series, which will be produced by writer Yoon In Wan of The New Secret Royal Commissioner, will be released in black and white on popular Japanese anime website Club Sunday on May 30 before a color version becomes available in Korea via portal website Naver on July 4.
