MBLAQ’s Lee Joon practiced frugal habits since childhood

It’s no secret that MBLAQ member Lee Joon is frugal, but recently he admitted that he has been thrifty with his money since childhood.
On the upcoming episode of KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Lee Joon evoked laughter after admitting that he would go out of his way to get back the money he lent to other people.
Lee Joon, who is well aware that he is notorious for being tight with his money, shared that he has had a habit of saving money since he was in elementary school. When he received allowance from his parents, he only used 20% and saved the other 80%.
The singer also admitted that when he was younger, he would lend money to his friends but would always get it back. If they didn’t repay him, he would personally go to their homes, respectfully greet their mothers and tell them he was there to pick up some money. Lee Joon then remarked that his friends’ mothers admired his frugal nature, and would give him more money than he was owed.
However it seems all that saving was put to good to use when Lee Joon bought his family a house with the money he has been saving since then.
