Big Bang to donate to UNICEF through the ‘Alive Tour 2012′

Big Bang‘s world tour has been a hot issue among their fans across the globe. Now, Big Bang has added another reason to encourage VIP‘s to attend their concert.

It has been revealed that part of the profits from Big Bang’s ‘Alive Tour 2012‘, which began in March and will end this December, will be donated to the Korean Committee for UNICEF.
On June 14th, YG Entertainment‘s Yang Min Suk and the Korean Committee for UNICEF’s Ryu Jong Soo met at the UNICEF Korea company building to complete an agreement stating that a portion of the profits from the ‘Alive Tour 2012′ will be donated to UNICEF.
The charity funds will come through the profits from the ticket sales, and will be donated to UNICEF’s children’s relief system for vaccinations. The funds will provide measles vaccinations for about 600,000 children, meaning one ticket buyer will be able to save one African child.
Additionally, UNICEF and YG Entertainment will be collaborating to sell special products and items for further charitable funding to the cause.
Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon stated,
As we will be receiving much love from various countries through our world tour, we want to return that love back to the world. That’s why we decided to support UNICEF. The funds that are raised will go towards children’s vaccinations. We hope that many children will be able to grow and live healthy lives free of any diseases.
