Because that’s the impression we get from the rapper’s new badass tattoo. Tattoo artist Yushi uploaded a photo of Gary’s tattoo onto his blog on June 4 and wrote, “LeeSsang’s Gary got a tattoo. And it’s a big one at that on his upper right arm. Gary, who wanted to get a tattoo of something Korean chose a traditional Korean totem pole as the subject to protect him from evil.”
Yushi continued, “I’m really happy with the results. But rather than the quality or artistry of the tattoo, I think the work of art shines more because the totem pole tattoo suits Gary so well. The silent, masculine totem pole and Gary with the cool personality who is considerate towards others.”
