Google+ Brings Fans Closer to K-Pop Stars

With Google announcing the K-Pop Hub on Google+ in May, K-Pop stars are now using the social networking site to get closer with fans.
As of now, Google+ has been closely working with B2ST, Infinite, Sistar and After School for the idol groups to share their every day lives with fans.

Not only that, Google+ has been bringing in cool events for fans.

One of the events that is being featured is a ′hangout′ fanmeeting. With hangout, where 10 people are able to video chat, Google+ is allowing K-pop stars and nine lucky fans to talk to each other via webcam.

The K-Pop hub also organized different events for fans, such as making a video confession to express a fan’s love for B2ST or creating a cover performance of Sistar′s song. The winners of these events will be receiving autographed memorabilia from the stars themselves.

The K-Pop Hub is available in Korean (http://www.google.com/intl/ko/+/kpop), English ( http://www.google.com/+/kpop) and Japanese (http://www.google.com/intl/ja/+/kpop).

While Google+ is only taking baby steps with the K-Pop Hub as of now, it is expected to soon grow over time with more and more K-Pop stars joining and creating Google circles for its fans to follow.
