‘Infinity Girls’ Appears on ‘Come to Play’

The Infinity Girls members made an appearance on MBC’s Come to Play after being placed in the main MBC channel from one of its cable branches.Infinity Girls first aired as a section in MBC’s Our Sunday Night on June 17, and appeared on Come to Play the day after.

The girls’ appearance on Come to Play is especially meaningful as original Infinity Challenge member Yoo Jae Suk serves as an MC for the show.

The first episode of Infinity Girls brought mixed reactions from viewers when it openly imitated Infinity Challenge’s ideas while the show was caught up in the MBC labor strike.

At a recent press roundtable, Song Eun Ee had showed regret at Infinity Challenge’s halt in production, yet added, “[Yoo Jae Suk is] probably keeping quiet for the producer he trusts and follows. It’s not for me to talk about such issues.”

Although Infinity Girls does seem wary of the burden that comes from being Infinity Challenge’s female counterpart, the meeting between Infinity Challenge’s Yoo Jae Suk and the Infinity Girls was interesting in itself.

This actually isn’t the first time Infinity Girls has appeared on Come to Play.

In February 2010, a different Infinity Girls cast, which included Hyun Young, Kim Na Young and Solbi, came out on the show to drop bomb accounts of each other.
