K-Pop Star contestant Yoon Hyun Sang has found a new music home with IU. On June 22, Loen Entertainment revealed the singer and song-writer, who had made it to the top 10 of SBS’ K-Pop Star had signed an exclusive contract to join the Loen family.
Loen Entertainment shared, “We favorably viewed [Yoon Hyun Sang’s] musical talents and emotional delivery on the show and found him to possess a lot of potential which is why we signed him on. We will reserve nothing in supporting Yoon Hyun Sang in his future music career.”
On the show, Yoon Hyun Sang won the praises of the judges and viewers for not only his singing but his song composition skills as he unveiled and sang many of his self-composed songs on the show. Yoon Hyun Sung made it to the top seven on the show before being eliminated.
Loen Entertainment even made a comparison of the budding singer with IU saying, “Like IU, Yoon Hyun Sung has clear talents as a singer songwriter and we believe he will receive much love from the public [through his music].”

IU herself is also a fan of Yoon Hyun Sung even having him appear as a guest during her concert on June 9 in Ulsan. On that night, IU even revealed she had actively asked her agency to sign him on, revealing she was an admirer of Yoon Hyun Sung and his music.
