Why Isn′t the First Episode of ‘Ghost’ Available on Its Website?

SBS’ Ghost still hasn’t gotten its first episode’s VOD up yet, making fans wonder what’s taking so long.
The first broadcast of Ghost, which aired on May 30, still isn’t available for VOD although the first week of June has already gone by.

Considering how videos are usually made available within 24 hours after they air on television, the situation brings up questions on why only the first episode isn’t being uploaded. The second, third and fourth episodes are all available for service.

Because of this, viewers who were planning to watch the first episode through the drama website’s VOD service have been leaving complaints on its viewer boards.

A rep from SBS explained to enews on June 8, “We’re editing the episode because some personal information was released through it. We weren’t able to provide the VOD immediately because there was a danger of leaking personal information. The service for the first episode will be made available soon after appropriate editing.”

Ghost is a drama that warns against the power of the internet and social network services, and is about the cyber-detectives who try to get to the bottom of relationships in the cyber world. The drama has been slowly gathering strong followers since its first episode due to its interesting story.
