Yeon Woo Jin Dons Hanbok in ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ Previews



Yeon Woo Jin’s character preview still cut has been released.In the upcoming MBC drama Arang and the Magistrate, Yeon Woo Jin stars as the dark and cold Joo Wal, the son of the most powerful household of the Miryang area.

By appearing in Arang and the Magistrate, Yeon Woo Jin and his drama will be going head-to-head against the drama of his ‘brother’, actor Ju Won, and KBS’ The Bridal Mask.

Yeon Woo Jin and Ju Won played brothers in the popular KBS drama Ojakgyo Brothers.

On going against his former television brother, Yeon Woo Jin said, “It doesn’t really matter to me that our dramas will compete. We told each other to do our best and Ju Won also told me he’s anticipating Arang and the Magistrate. I hope it will be a win-win for both of us.”

Yeon Woo Jin added he has watched every episode of The Bridal Mask and had high praise for Ju Won and his acting.

On his upcoming role as Joo Wal, Yeon Woo Jin shared, “I really like this character. After putting on the clothes and makeup on set, the character really began to take shape for me. I really enjoy the character’s external appearance so I was able to focus more on studying the character.”

Arang and the Magistrate centers on the ghost Arang (Shin Min Ah) who died a regretful death and comes across Eun Oh (Lee Joon Gi) who can see ghosts.

The drama will premiere sometime towards the end of July.
