The reported explained that Minzy, Bom and CL were at the Tokyo Shibuya hotel getting their make-up done in advance for a broadcast, while Dara had just finished getting hers done and was in a separate room. When the earthquake hit, the members were all extremely startled and panicked as the building swayed from the force. CL immediately called Dara on her cellphone, and helped calm her down. When the announcement of a tsunami was made, the staff quickly helped evacuate the members and others out of the building to a safer location. That evening, the members were unable to sleep due to anxiety.
The next day, the members proceeded to Haneda airport amongst the chaos, and safely boarded a flight back to Korea. All members were reported to still be scared and anxious over the whole ordeal.
