“Heartstrings”: Jung Yong Hwa’s Surprise Kiss to... ?

On yesterday’s episode of MBC’s “Heartstrings,” Lee Shin (Jung Yong Hwa) landed a surprise kiss on his professor Jung Yoon Soo (So Yi Hyun)!

On this episode, it was revealed that Jung Yoon Soo and Kim Seuk Hyun (Song Chang Ui) were past lovers of each other. It turned out that the scenario for the musical performance in celebration of the the university’s 100^th anniversary happened to be the love story between the two. Thus, Jung Yoon Soo became the topic of gossip amongst students.

Lee Shin went up to Kim Seuk Hyun and questioned “Do you feel good for making the woman you used to love into a joke?” He also added, “Now I understand why Professor Jung left you. I like her. I like Professor Jung.”

Lee Shin followed Jung Yoon Soo’s car by riding a bicycle. Jung Yoon Soo, who realized she was being followed, stated “How far are you going to follow me? You should go.” However, Lee Shin, instead of responding, put a necklace around her neck and gave her a surprise kiss. It will be interesting to find out how the story will develop since Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) happened to witness the two kissing!

Meanwhile, the fourth episode of “Heartstrings” received the same viewer ratings as the third episode of 6.6%, according to statistics by AGB Nielsen Media Research. SBS’s “City Hunter” continued to take the lead, reaching a new high with a 19.6%, while KBS’s “Romance Town” received 12.0%.
