Lee Hyori Receives a Bag As a Personal Gift from Tom Ford

Recently it was discovered that Lee Hyori has received a personal gift from the world-renowned designer, Tom Ford
On January 1, Lee Hyori posted on her Twitter, "A world-renowned designer personally gave me an alligator-print bag. I'm very grateful but what do I do - is it a snake?" She also posted a picture of the bag.


As soon as she posted this, Netizens began to pour her with questions on the identity of this designer. Due to this immense curiousity, Lee Hyori's reprensentatives revealed that the designer is Tom Ford, whom Lee Hyori has worked with last year.

Lee Hyori was chosen as a muse for the Tom Ford 2011 F/W collection photoshoot. As she posed while wearing Tom Ford pieces, she admitted, "I felt like I became a femme fatale," as she happily exclaimed that she felt like she discovered a new part of herself.


Sources from the photoshoot by Elle magazine said that all the pieces that Lee Hyori wore during shoot were special samples from the Tom Ford collection from overseas. The bag that was given to Lee Hyori is also a high-quality and luxurious leather bag from Tom Ford. Usually, genuine alligator or snake-print designer bags are priced at around $10,000.

Attention is garnering around Lee Hyori's reaction after receiving the bag. Lee Hyori is known to be an animal rights activist and she has joined a campaign that goes against wearing fur or leather. Since she posted her dilemma on what to do with the bag on Twitter, there is a lot of talk and curiousity going around on what she will do.

Lee Hyori's representatives stepped up once again and said, "If it was a designer from Korea, he/she probably wouldn't have sent her an alligator-print bag. Currently, Lee Hyori is in a dilemma on what to do with the bag."
