T-ara’s Eunjung cancels her Japanese schedule due to an injury

T-ara‘s Eunjung suffered a knee injury that will need six weeks for full recovery.
It’s just been revealed that due to her injury, she was forced to cancel her appearance for an event in Japan.
The members were scheduled to attend a K-Pop concert/fashion show that was co-planned by MBCand Japan’s FujiTV. Almost all the members boarded their flight on January 26th, except for Eunjung, who had to sit this one out.
A representative of T-ara’s management Core Contents Media stated via Star News, “The decision to cancel Eunjung’s trip to Japan was finalized earlier today… Her condition is so bad that she’s been forced to put on a cast, and therefore could not be a part of the group’s trip to Japan.”
The representative continued, “The members of T-ara will guest on numerous music programs as soon as they return, but Eunjung will not be able to join them on stage. However, this would be because of her other schedules with the drama she’s currently a part of.”
They added, “Although Eunjung is struggling with her injuries, she will be able to act in ‘Queen Insoo‘, as the hanbok [traditional Korean dress] will cover her cast. We will have to negotiate with the drama’s production team about scenes that require a lot of movement.”
The representative concluded, “Aside from shooting for ‘Queen Insoo’, Eunjung will only focus on her recovery.”
While commuting back home from her “Lovey Dovey” choreography practice on January 24th, Eunjung fell and ended up rupturing the supporting structures within her kneecap. At the time of her accident, there had been a heavy snowfall and the ground had been frozen solid as a result.
