FT Island celebrated its second year since debuting in Japan with a special fan meeting.After releasing its second Japanese album, Twenty on May 16, FT Island held a special event with approximately 10,000 fans in Tokyo on May 19 and Osaka on May 20.
During the event, FT Island showcased new songs for the first time, and shared behind-the-scene stories of the songs in the group′s new album.

With many self-composed and self-written songs on the album, Lee Hong Ki stated, “Because the production of this album overlapped with our Korean activities, we were running on a tight schedule, but because delivering the message from the lyrics is so important, we spent a long time, translating everything and putting it together for better understanding.”
Lee Jae Jin also added, “The average age of the members right now is twenty, and we thought this would be the album that would show the kind of music we’re making now, so we decided to title it Twenty.”
While celebrating their 2nd anniversary of their Japanese debut on May 19, the members thanked the fans and promised to do their best.
The new album Twenty sold approximately 20,000 copies on the day of its release and ranked high on the Oricon charts.
FT Island plans to start its summer tour, FT Island Summer Tour 2012 – Run! Run! Run! from June 24 to July 8, stopping in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukui.
