Lee Joon Gi, Shin Min Ah and Cast Hold Script Reading for New Drama

Actor Lee Joon Gi has participated in the first drama script reading for his comeback drama. On May 12, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Min Ah and the other principle cast members for MBC’s upcoming Arang and the Magistrate came together for the first time to hold their script reading at MBC’s Dream Center in Ilsan.

The meeting began with the director Kim Sang Ho, discussing the background behind Arang and the Magistrate and carefully explaining how the drama came to be before the actors held their script rehearsal.

Also on hand was Yoo Seung Ho, who will be making a special appearance in the drama.

Arang and the Magistrate is based on a Korean legend about Arang, who is murdered and comes back as a ghost to convince a government official to investigate her death and punish those responsible.

Shin Min Ah plays Arang and Lee Joon Gi plays the government official Lee Sang Sa.

The drama will begin shooting later this month and will premiere in July.
