BEAST’s 5th Mini Album to Be Released Around the Olympics, No Change of Plan

BEAST’s upcoming 5th mini album will collide with the 2012 London Olympics.
So is BEAST worried? The answer seems to be no!
A representative of Cube Entertainment stated, “Currently we are finishing up BEAST’s upcoming fifth mini album. At this pace it looks as though the new album will collide with the 2012 London Olympics. However we do not have plans to push back the release.”
Many groups that have planned releases in July are pushing them back to August because of the Olympics. However, it appears that Cube Entertainment has come to this decision because there won’t be any changes to the schedules of music programs due to the Olympics. Also, BEAST needs to launch their new album in July in order to pursue their world tour during the second half of 2012.
A music industry representative stated, “A group that already has a popularity base needs to do sports events that fit in with the Olympics as a marketing strategy. If they use the celebratory atmosphere of the Olympics to their favor, a group will be able to make effective promotions that are low cost.”
