Girls′ Generation (SNSD) performed its new single Paparazzi in Japan for the first time.The girls were featured on the June 22 broadcast of Asahi TV′s Music Station.
Just before the performance, Music Station aired a special video showing how SNSD has been gathering popularity all over the world and introduced the group by saying, "The group will be performing its first new single in a year and two months,Paparazzi, for the first time ever."
The music show performance was SNSD′s first in the country since it appeared on NHK′s Red & White Song Battle near the end of 2011.
The members said, "We′ve waited for and looked forward to this meeting with our Japanese fans for such a long time, and we′re happy we′re finally here." They then stepped forward to talk about their new dance, saying that the main attraction was "the dance that makes the shape of a camera with the hands."
For the actual performance, the SNSD members managed to impress again with their beautiful legs and perfectly synchronized routine. The maid uniforms and pink gloves especially left a big impression.
