SNSD Becomes First Korean Celebrity on Official Stamps

The SNSD members will be getting stamped soon - literally. Come this August, the Korean Post will be issuing sets of SNSD stamps called, ‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’.

According to a representative for the Korean Post, “‘Girls’ Generation My Own Stamps’ are stamps that the Korean Post directly contracted and [SNSD] will be the first Korean celebrity postage stamps. We specially [chose] SNSD, who is taking an active role in bringing the K-Pop fever all over the world, as the models.”
The upcoming stamps will be made as a commemoration of SNSD’s fifth year as a group.

The stamp set will have all nine of the members’ individual pictures from their most recent The Boys album and include five of SNSD’s album covers to contain a total of 14 stamps in each set.

SNSD is currently promoting its new Japanese single Paparazzi in Japan.
