BEAST released their debut Japanese single "SHOCK" on March 16th and the single has made it in the Top 10 of the Oricon Daily Chart for March 20th at #2 with 1,999 units sold.
With this debut ranking, BEAST has beaten Big Bang's record, who debuted with their Japanese single "My Heaven" in 2009. "My Heaven" topped the Oricon Daily Charts as well upon its release and placed third.
