SMASH, the idol group produced by Tony An, is currently gaining attention for their Japanese single “Bounce Up” ,which has grabbed 10th place on Japanese music charts.
On August 10th, Tony An updated his Twitter saying, “Our praiseworthy SMASH has landed a spot on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Top 10. Although they still have ways to go and they have been through a lot, please congratulate them. Next year we’ll make an effort so that they will be loved by Korea.”
The singer also uploaded a photograph of himself and the group along with the text.
The group, who’ve been in the works since before Tony An’s enlistment in the army, debuted in 2008 with their mini-album “Open Fire” and has been active in Japan since then.
