With Architecture 101 being a smash hit in Korea, the movie is now looking to make its entry into the various film festival abroad. Architecture 101 has been selected to be the closing film for the ongoing 15th Shanghai International Film Festival.
The film festival began on June 16 and will close on June 24. On the festival’s closing night, director Lee Yong Joo, Han Ga In and Lee Je Hoon will attend the film’s screening and walk the red carpet for the event.
The film’s distributor, Lotte Entertainment, revealed China wasn’t the last stop for the film saying, “Beginning with the Shanghai International Film Festival, we plan to market the movie in the west as well screening it at film festivals in Europe and the Americas.”

Architecture 101 originally premiered on March 22 where it became a box office smash hit and has so far attracted over 4.1 million viewers in Korea, as of June 18.
