Drama "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" Exports to Japan at a Record Price

tvN's Monday/Tuesday drama, "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop," has set a record in export price to Japan for a cable TV drama.
On November 23, CJ E&M stated that Japanese content distributing company CCC has bought televising rights and DVD publication rights to the drama. Each episode has been exported and sold for approximately $100,000 USD.
Contents distributor SPO previously bought broadcasting and publication rights to tvN's romantic comedy "I Need Romance." It is the first cable drama to be bought and is set to air in Japan. The drama is to air in January.
OCN drama, "Vampire Detective" starring Yeon Jung Hoon, has also been sold to a distributing company and will air during the first half of the year.
CJ E&M stated, "Through a knowhow in production and strategic marketing, CJ E&M dramas have been receiving a lot of love and attention. As a result of our popularity in the domestic market, our overseas popularity has also increased and we have been able to branch out to international markets. We plan to do our best in expanding and making the best out of this growth."
It seems as though the quality of cable TV dramas are increasing.
