One of the many traditions of Korean Lunar New Year is to bow to one’s elders to wish them happiness. Oftentimes, kids receive allowance money after completing the rites.
On January 23rd, Super Junior‘s Ryeowook and his cousin, F.I.X‘s Jung Wook, had some fun re-anacting the Lunar New Year tradition.
Ryeowook tweeted, “Happy New Year~” and “Wherever I go, I’m the proudly smiling and charming hyung~~~^^ Jung Wook, sorry. Don’t play with hyung’s money~~~Everyone, have a happy holiday~~>< I love you, keke.”
Ryeowook shared photos of the two adorably asking for money and doing the traditional Lunar New Year bow. Hilariously, he also gloated over his elder status as he showed his money off to his younger cousin.
Netizens commented on the cuteness of the two boys, as they wore matching outfits with similar styled sweaters, hairstyles and beanie hats.
