SBS‘ ‘K-Pop Star‘ scored a staggering 17.3% in viewership ratings for this week, claiming the second spot among Sunday’s TV programs.
According to TV viewership research organization, AGB Nielsen, the 12th episode of SBS’ ‘K-Pop Star’ recorded 17.3% on February 19th. This is a 3.3% increase from last week’s episode. The increase in viewership was most likely due to this week’s dramatic face-off between the show’s two biggest contenders, Park Ji Min and Lee Ha Yi.
However, the most shocking fact about this news is that K-Pop Star’s rating of 17.3% outweighs ‘Running Man‘s’, rating which recorded 16.7% on the same day. This is a huge achievment considering how Running Man is not only considered a popular TV program in South Korea, but all over Asia.
KBS 2TV ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ also performed amazingly well with 25.2% in ratings. Unfortunately, it was the show’s last episode.
